1. Can you supply part number Champion AG4 for my BMC 2.2 diesel taxi or marinised engine?
No, unfortunately this part has been obsolete for some time with no replacement and no possibility of Champion reproducing it. We are able to supply a Beru part which is similar but we cannot guarantee suitability.

2. Can you supply a ceramic glow plug to replace my standard metal sheathed glow plug?
No, all glow plug recommendations are matched to the engine, electrical system and operating conditions, as such we would not be able to recommend a ceramic alternative to the NGK or Champion recommended part.

3. My main dealer wants to charge me £xx for a single glow plug, can you supply a cheaper equivalent?
If you can supply us with the part number we may be able to replace or cross reference to a part which you could use as a replacement. Some OEM (orignal) plugs are only available through main dealers and are not available through aftermarket channels. If we can supply a replacement or equivalent part it will usually be considerably cheaper than the main dealer price.

4. I have a Japanese import diesel vehicle, can you recommend a suitable replacement plug?
This can be tricky, there are usually a number of engine variations requiring different parts. We may need extensive details from you in order to identify the correct part. By far the easiest is to check what plugs are installed and replace with the same part number if available (assuming the plugs were functioning correctly up until failure).

5. I can't find my part number listed on your website, can you supply it?
Please mail details of the part you are looking for, it may be a USA only part or a very new part which is not yet listed. We will check and reply.

6. Can you supply an Auburn ignitor rod for use in my incinerator/furnace/oven etc?
Please supply part numbers, we have no application guides for any products requiring ignitor rods but we may be able to source from a specialist supplier. Unfortunately they are usually only available in box quantity and are often expensive.

7. Can you supply Bosch glow plugs?
No, sorry, unless required in very large quantities (200+) when we may be able to place a special order.

8. How long should my glow plugs last?
This is highly subjective, providing all the engine's systems are working correctly then they should last a long time. A fault with a relay can cause a plug to fail almost instantly. If the vehicle is used for short journeys and the engine is stopped and started often then plug life may be shortened - the heating coil is only used at engine startup and it is this which is most likely to fail.
